Lincoln Christian University offers MA in Ministry in Indy

Beginning August 2013, LCU will be training servant leaders in the Indianapolis area on the campus of Outlook Christian Church, 6531 N 600 W, McCordsville, Indiana. This Seminary degree is the first to be offered at LCU’s Indianapolis extension site in the Northeast suburb of McCordsville, just 25 minutes from downtown and with easy access to I-70 and I-69.

The Indiana-based MA in Ministry is a 48-hour program designed to give Christian leaders a strong foundation, focused studies, and practical field experience to help them build their unique ministries. Courses include 24 credit hours of foundational courses, 12-15 hours of focused ministry courses and 9-12 hours of field experience in the forms of mentored ministry and a capstone field-based project.

Plus, the MA in Ministry can be completed in less than three years. Foundation courses are onsite, but you have the option to take up to one-half of your focus courses online! And, field experiences are arranged to suit your personal objectives and situation. This hybrid approach lets you tailor your education to fit the needs of your life and ministry — and results in more productive in-class time and engaged learning.

Professor and Program Director Dr. Rob McCord believes, “Whether you’re sensing the call to leave your nets and enter vocational ministry, or you’re ready to take your current ministry to the next level, you’ll find this Master of Arts in Ministry degree will provide the useful training you need to do all God is calling you to do and be all God is calling you to be.”

Lincoln Christian Seminary’s Master of Arts in MInistry program is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (, the Higher Learning Commission: A Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (, and the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (

You can respond to God’s call and live your mission in the church and the world. LCU’s MA in Ministry program will enrich your relationship with Christ and your understanding of God’s Word, enable you to use the wisdom you gain to lead effectively, and equip you to embody Christ in your ministry.
