Dr. Nolan Thomas is continually amazed at the commitment he sees in the students at LCU. He finds the school to be refreshing and is grateful to be able to attend chapel, hear great preaching, and work alongside some extraordinary Christians. His colleagues agree, and appreciate Thomas’s “amazing,” “funny,” and “extremely caring Teddy bear” manner. Thomas is married to Pam and they have two adult sons (married) and four grandchildren. When commenting on his home life, he quips, “We presently live under the will and demands of our Pomeranian dog and a calico cat.”
“Counseling is a field of study you must want to do. This is an area of study that exemplifies agape love. This is a field which allows you to reach and work with diverse peoples as well as allows you to center in on a population or area of need like no other. ”
Dr. Nolan Thomas, Associate Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling
