Current and future Lincoln Leaders depend on generous and faithful gifts from individuals and families who believe in - and benefit from - the mission and ministry of Lincoln Christian University.
A Lincoln Leader is someone who has spent part or all of his or her higher education experience in one of Lincoln Christian University’s (LCU) three schools. Over the years, Lincoln Leaders have made a difference in all 50 states and more than 160 countries around the world.
Today, Lincoln Leaders are making a difference in churches, global missions, counseling centers, businesses, finance, medicine, law, government, and education. Your Lincoln Leadership Gift makes it possible for future Lincoln Leaders (like the ones listed below) to continue to make a difference.
Mandy Liptak, LCC ‘04
NextGen Girls Ministry Associate
Southeast Christian Church
"I had no initial plans of being in ministry, but God had other plans for my life! While I was studying the Bible and Business at LCU, He was forming in me a heart for His Kingdom in every opportunity. In classes, I was equipped with the right tools for understanding the Bible; on camp teams, I grew a heart for middle and high school students searching for their identity; on mission trips, my eyes were opened to the Father’s global heart. More than anything, the community of encouraging friends and faculty at LCU showed me how we become more like Jesus when we move beyond comfort and into a world desperate for hope."
David Clark, LCC ‘74
Central Christian Church
"I am deeply indebted to LCU. The school elevated my leadership, deepened my walk with Jesus, broadened my understanding of preaching and the Word, and shaped my heart for lost and hurting people."
Nate Edson, LCC ‘97
"LCU helped to shape the person I am today, preparing me to lead in business, church, and my family with integrity and rooted in scripture. The professors and coaches at LCU exemplified Christ and encouraged me to do the same."
Jennifer Reedy Singleton, LCC ‘01
Buder Elementary School
St. Ann, MO
"One of my favorite verses about leadership is from Psalm 78:72, ‘And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.’ As an administrator in a school, one of the standards I am evaluated on is: ‘acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner.’ Lincoln Christian University provided the guidance, education, and experiences so I could be a skilled leader who serves with integrity."
Sometimes called the "Annual Fund," the Lincoln Leadership Gift is the unrestricted, sustaining, repeatable gift that makes up the difference between all other sources of income and the true cost of educating Lincoln Leaders at Lincoln Christian University (LCU). This gift benefits every leader preparing at LCU. Currently, that amounts to $1,500,000 annually (June 1-May 31). Thank you for joining us in making sure there will be future generations of Lincoln Leaders answering the call.
