Visiting LCU

Visiting campus is one of the most informative steps you can take in searching for the right college to attend. Whether you are a high school student considering LCU’s School of Undergraduate Studies, a working adult wanting to learn more about the options available through the Hargrove School of Adult & Graduate Studies, or a ministry professional looking to further his/her education in our Seminary, LCU has the campus visit for you!

Undergraduate Studies

You can read about our strong academic programs, excellent faculty, and engaging community life in brochures and online, but nothing can compare to experiencing campus life for yourself. A campus visit is the best way to decide if LCU is right for you! We are eager to have you experience what it's like to be part of our community through one of the visit opportunities listed below.

Individual Visit

We can customize your day on the Lincoln campus for an in-depth one-on-one visit experience that fits your individual needs. Some of the things your visit can include are:

  • a meeting with an admission counselor
  • campus tour
  • meeting with a professor
  • lunch with a student
  • class visit
  • meeting with an athletic coach
  • overnight stay in a residence hall

If you come on a Tuesday, you have the added bonus of being able to join us for our weekly 9:30 a.m. chapel service.

Individual visits may be scheduled Monday-Friday. Overnight visits can be scheduled Sunday-Thursday. Click here to register for a visit online.

Please note - LCU offers students various breaks throughout the school year. Offices remain open most of these breaks and visits are still welcome, but you will not have the opportunity for a class visit, overnight stay, or lunch with a student on these dates:

Preview Days

Preview Days provide students a broad overview of campus life, including academics, spiritual life, and community life. You get to explore the campus as a group, visit a class, meet with faculty and staff, eat lunch in our café, and more (optional overnight stays are available the night before).

On Fall Preview Day, there will be an additional afternoon portion for students interested in playing on one of our Red Lions athletic teams. This is a great opportunity to meet with coaches and athletes, watch a practice, and attend a home volleyball or soccer game.

Fall Preview Day/Athletic Preview Day: October 8, 2013
Winter Preview Day: December 7, 2013
(Tickets for student + 2 adults to a matinee Christmas in the Chapel performance included)
