BA in Youth & Family Ministry

The BA in Youth & Family Ministry program prepares students for service in the church as youth ministers or associate ministers working with youth who also desire more preparation in preaching. It also prepares preachers who desire more preparation in youth ministry. Youth and Family Ministry can also be taken as a minor. For further information contact the program director, Rondel Ramsey.

A passing grade in Chapel and Service Learning is required during each semester in which you are taking 12 or more hours of credit.

YM211, YM325, YM327, YM480, YM401, YM402 must be taken at LCU to be counted toward the program hours. Youth Ministry hours can be transferred in but may need to be counted as elective hours. Students must complete 24 hours of Youth Ministry required hours at LCU. Excess transferred hours may count toward elective hours.
