- Married to Carolyn Ann (Cunningham) at the Catlin Church of Christ, IL in 1967.
- Blessed with two children and six grandchildren: Living in Louisville, KY Darin and Angela (daughter) have three: Morgan, Jessica, and Kyler. Living in Tuscola, IL and serving the First Christian Church, Scott (son) and Kerri have three: Haleigh, McKayla, and Jayson. Each one is unique and a different personality. Dr. Zorn continues to recruit them for LCU.
- Dr. Zorn loves to jog (slowly) for keeping in shape, at least some kind of shape. Each year he tries to run a half-marathon. He enjoys collecting and reading books about the Civil War (really "War Between the States"). His wife, Carolyn, says she doesn't have to read about the war because her side won!
- Above all, he loves the time spent with his six grandchildren.
