Lynn Laughlin received a B.A. in Preaching from Lincoln Christian University in 1964 and graduated from Lincoln Christian University with an M.A. in New Testament in 1966. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Millikin University (Decatur, IL) in 1967 and a Master of Arts from Illinois State University in 1969. He has taught in the area of New Testament and Physical Education. He also served as Athletic Director, Director of Student Activities, Dean of Men, and basketball and baseball coach. He assumed the position of Director of Recruitment on November, 1981, and was later named Vice President of Student Development. In February, 2001, Lynn became Vice President of Alumni Development. He has been employed by Lincoln Christian University since 1964.

Lynn assisted in organizing AACAP, the Admissions Personnel of Christian Colleges, and served as the original president of this organization. He has spoken for CIY, led workshops at the NACC, conducted numerous seminars with his wife Lois, and has held many revivals. He helped with the organization, planning, and travel schedule of Lincoln Christian University's Dayspring for 20 years. Lynn also leads in the organization, training, and scheduling of LCU's camp teams.

For 13 years Lynn was preaching minister at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Raymond, Illinois (1963-1976). Prior to this ministry, Lynn was the youth minister at Lake Fork Christian Church, Lake Fork, Illinois (1962-1963). Since leaving the located ministry, Lynn has continued to preach regularly in many of the churches where our alumni serve, and he enjoys the opportunity to keep alumni informed regarding the ministry of Lincoln Christian University.

Effective September 1, 2009, Lynn's administrative title became Associate Vice President of Alumni and Special Assistant to the President.

Lynn and his wife Lois have two children at home, Sarah and Marty. There are also three older children, Stephen, Melissa, and Tasha, and six grandchildren.
