Lincoln International University (LIU) has evolved like most American private universities. It serves as a development extension of Lincoln Christian University and an important outreach service to the world education market. LIU has the same legal and academic status as other legitimate American higher education institutions and is authorized by the United States immigration services to enroll international students worldwide. It is also officially recognized and endorsed by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

Please look up Lincoln Christian College as it was the official name used before the school was expanded in 2009.
The mission objectives of LIU are to serve the needs of students with a high caliber education that prepares students to think wisely and live well, and encourage them to improve their skills. In 2008, Lincoln International University (LIU) formed a strategic partnership with the American Chinese Civic Exchange (ACCE) for international program development. ACCE is an exclusive partner with LIU in terms of recruitment and other professional engagements with Chinese students and organizations. This partnership led to the development of the China Institute The China Institute currently has three distinct programs, each with a different and distinct application process.
English Language Academy is a college preparatory program for students with little English language skill wishing to learn more. This is a one year, non-degree program. Upon completion students will take an English language proficiency test (MELAB, TOEFL or IELTS). Results may be used for college admission purposes.
2 and 4 year Degree Program is for students who are already proficient in English and have established that with a passing score on the TOEFL or IELTS, wishing to pursue a degree from LIU.
Training Seminar and Summer Camp Program is hosted by LIU and conducted by its Chinese partnering agencies to promote global cultural awareness and education. This is a short term, non-degree program.
