Our online programs meet you where you are |
Online learning is one of the fastest growing areas in higher education, with nearly five million online students
in this country. Very few online programs, however, are taught from a Christian perspective. LCU's commitment to
Christian values and Biblical truth is an important part of the online programs in the Hargrove
School of Adult & Graduate Studies. The list of online programs offered at LCU keeps growing and currently includes:
If you would rather combine online learning with a face-to-face classroom experience, our
Monday evening undergraduate courses combine
the best of both worlds, offering some sessions online and some onsite.
All Adult & Graduate Studies online courses are designed for busy adults and are offered one course at a time, in an accelerated format that lasts 6-7 weeks.
Most students can expect to spend 10-15 hours per week reading, studying, looking at Web sites, viewing videos, listening to podcasts,
and interacting online with instructors and other students. Courses do not require everyone to be online at the same time, so you
can arrange your weekly schedule in ways that best suit your busy life.
All online students begin with an
introductory
course that helps them become familiar with our online learning expectations and
gives them the tools to succeed as online learners. Instructors are trained in the latest "best practices" for online
instruction, and they care about students as individuals. Online classes are small (8-12 students), allowing students
to develop a sense of community. Click here
