Greenville College
I. Early Childhood Education
This major leads to certification for teaching in programs serving children birth to age 8 (grade 3). The professional coursework of the program focuses on preparation for teaching in child care centers, pre-schools, 0-3 early intervention programs, and primary K-3 classrooms.
II. Elementary Education
This major prepares candidates for certification in grades K-9.
III. Secondary Education
Candidates will major in their specific field of study and will be prepared for certification in grades 6-12.
IV. Special Education
Candidates will be prepared for the Special Education LBS 1 certificate (K-12). This major prepares candidates for certification in grades K-9.
V. Elementary Education (AAE/UTEP)
This major prepares candidates for certification in grades K-9.
