** While other courses might be substituted with advisor approval, this
is a preferred list of allowable courses for an M.A. specialization in
Philosophy. All are three semester-hour classes.
*** Students concentrating in Philosophy will be strongly advised to
use these elective hours by selecting courses listed within this
concentration. Including the thesis or extended research paper,
the M.A. program in Philosophy would thus consist of 27 hours of
philosophy in addition to the M.A. core courses.
