Undergraduate Studies Extends Anniversary Scholarship Offer
Lincoln Christian University is extending its 65th Anniversary Scholarship offer by guaranteeing a $3,000 annual scholarship to all new applicants for the School of Undergraduate Studies who plan to live on campus and apply for admission between March 2 and April 30, 2010.
How to qualify for the extended 65th Anniversary Scholarship
• Apply for undergraduate admission now, including your application essay and $25 fee. Apply online or by completing and returning LCU's paper application by Friday, April 30, 2010. These items must be received or postmarked by April 30.
• Complete the application process by submitting required transcripts, SAT or ACT results, and reference forms. The Undergraduate Admissions office can help you identify which steps you still need to complete.
• Submit your housing application and deposit when LCU requests it in the spring of 2010 (this scholarship is offered only to students who live on campus).
• In the fall of 2010 or spring of 2011, enroll as a full-time (at least 12 credits per semester), residential LCU student.
Additional Scholarship Information
• This scholarship is awarded as $1,500 per semester for up to eight semesters so long as you maintain continuous full-time LCU enrollment and meet satisfactory academic progress (SAP) requirements
• The 65th Anniversary Scholarship may be combined with other types of financial aid, including academic scholarships. No student may receive more than one 65th Anniversary Scholarship.
• Total LCU institutional aid may not exceed the cost of tuition and fees. Total grants and scholarships may not go beyond the cost of tuition, fees, room and board.
• 65th Anniversary Scholarship recipients must be full-time students and live in an LCU residence hall.
• This program is open to new, fully admitted LCU students enrolling for the first time in Fall 2010 or Spring 2011.
• To qualify, simply apply and submit your application essay and $25 application fee between March 2 and April 30 for enrollment in the 2010-2011 academic year.
• Awarding may continue after April 30 as funds are available.
• All students are strongly encouraged to apply for other financial assistance by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible.
