What is the Internship and Service Fair?
An annual event established by Lincoln Christian University, the Internship & Service Fair is a fall event where students and potential interns from our campus have the opportunity to meet and network with representatives from potential Internship and service sites. This year, the event will continue under our new name, Lincoln Christian University (LCU).

Students participating in the 2008 Internship Fair |
Churches and organizations from all over the world are invited to come to our campus in Lincoln, Illinois or send information about their church or organization. These churches and organizations (para-church and non-church) set up displays, provide information on their internship and service opportunities, and some even have some fun, free gifts for students. The displays may range from simple handouts about the church or organization placed on a table to Power Point or video presentations or games or activities which get the students involved.
All students are encouraged to attend this Fair. They can register to win prizes, which are donated by local businesses and representatives at the Fair. Last year over 200 students attended and over 30 churches and organizations were represented from all over the country and world.
If you qualify to be a mentor of interns you will want to take this opportunity to personally connect with students who are, or will be seeking, an internship. Future interns are looking for quality and qualified mentors who are willing to partner with Lincoln Christian to train Christian leaders for the world.

Students receive information about possible internships from a fair participant |
If you are within a reasonable distance to the LCU campus, but do not qualify to be a mentor of interns, then you will want to take this opportunity to personally connect with students who are looking for Service Learning opportunities. All full-time students are required to get experience in their degree area every semester, which helps them gain experience leading up to their internship in their senior year.
