One More 65th Anniversary Gift

Lincoln Christian University celebrated their 65th Anniversary this past year! As a final celebration of this landmark, 20 new iPads were awarded to full-time registered students of LCU on Saturday, August 21

Half of the iPads were given to new and returning students in the School of Undergraduate Studies.
The five new students winners:

• Rolando Garrido - preaching major
• Jared Synal - youth ministry
• Patricia Cruz - intercultural studies
• Cayleigh Overlin - psychology
• Brooklyn Morgan - general ministries with a focus in intercultural studies

Returning student winners are:

• Julie Browning - business administration
• John Frank- AA Bible/TESOL
• Jenyelyne Smith- business administration
• Aaron Sharpe- preaching
• Spencer Carrell- worship

"[Student Body] President Battles called me on the phone to tell me the good news; I had no idea what he was talking about. I am in the middle of my internship so it makes sense that I hadn't heard anything about the drawing. I thought that he and some of the other guys were trying to play a prank on me. Well, I was not going to be fooled, so I kept saying that I did not believe him. It probably took him 10 minutes to convince me that I had won. I am pretty sure the first words that came out of my mouth after realizing I had won were 'praise Jesus.' I must say that I am very thankful and I know that it will come in handy.
