LCU Welcomes Dr. Anthony Le Donne

Dr. Le Donne comes to Lincoln Christian from William Jessup University (formerly San Jose Christian College). He has been involved in preaching and teaching at several Christian churches in the Sacramento area. Dr. Le Donne earned his B.A. and M.A. from Trinity Western University (Canada), a DipCS from Regent College, (also in Canada), and holds a Ph.D. from Durham University (England). His recent publication, The Historiographical Jesus: Memory, Typology and the Son of David (Baylor University Press, 2009) has been commended as a significant development in the study of historical Jesus. His second book, Historical Jesus: What Can We Know and How We Can Know It? is expected to be released in the next several months (Erdman’s, 2010). Dr. Le Donne and his wife Sarah have two children.
