Internship Fair 2010

The annual LCU Internship Fair was held in the Laughlin Center on October 5, 2010. The internship fair draws students from all grades and majors, giving time for them to find an internship appropriate for them to pursue in the future.
Every student who receives a bachelor's degree from Lincoln Christian University is required to complete an internship that relates to their education field. To assist students in finding internships, LCU hosts the Internship Fair on campus each fall. This year, students had the opportunity to meet representatives from 48 sites: churches, mission organizations, church plants, campus ministries, youth organizations, children's homes, homeless ministries, pregnancy centers, and more. There were 23 churches from the United States and 14 mission organizations from across the world represented. Youth Ministry major Kenny Scott said he appreciated "the abundance of great churches with a lot of opportunity for getting plugged in."
Internship Fair Coordinator, Kathy Johnson credits the huge success to the community, donators, and organizations who were willing to step up and help. Around 60 local businesses donated prizes for more than 200 students who attended from the LCU campus.
"I could tell that the organizations really wanted to partner with LCU to create a genuine relationship," said LCU senior Aaron Albrecht.
THANK YOU to the following businesses who generously donated to the 2010 Lincoln
Christian University Internship & Service Fair: These donations encouraged many students to attend the Fair this year, which made it a success! We hope that in return these businesses will be supported by students as well as the community
