Scholarships for the School of Undergraduate Studies
Even though LCU is one of the country's most affordable private universities, scholarships are often necessary and always welcome.
In order to receive any financial aid, you must have applied to Lincoln Christian University and been accepted into a degree-seeking program.
Academic and GPS Scholarships - Fall 2011
LCU is making an affordable quality, Christian university education even more affordable for the Fall of 2011. Everyone who applies for admission to the School of Undergraduate Studies by February 1, 2011, is eligible for a GPS Scholarship to attend LCU and learn more about using their Gifts, Passion and Sense of Calling to serve and lead others. Many will also qualify for generous academic scholarships.

Outside Scholarships
In addition to funds awarded by Lincoln Christian University, scholarships are available from a wide variety of sources. While seeking these scholarships can be a time consuming process, successful scholarship searches can help reduce your reliance on student loans or even be the final piece in affording an LCU education. We encourage you to begin researching scholarship possibilities twelve to fifteen months before you plan to enroll at LCU. In addition to national scholarship competitions, don't forget to seek out scholarships offered in your community by foundations, religious organizations, and civic groups, such as the American Legion Elks or Kiwanis. Some companies have programs to help pay the cost of post-secondary education for employees or their children. Your public library and high school guidance counseling office can be excellent sources of information on state and private sources of aid.
There are also free scholarship searches on the Internet. Three reliable scholarship search databases can be found at www.fastweb.com, www.scholarships.salliemae.com,
