Student Employment

Many students choose to work while they are in college. Research has shown that in many cases, students who work up to 20 hours per week actually earn better grades than those who do not work.

LCU students can secure part-time jobs on-campus and in community service through the University's iServe program. Some of these jobs are through the Federal Work Study (FWS) program, which means eligibility is based on your financial need as determined by filling out a FAFSA and funded in part by the federal government. Others are open to any qualified student. In most cases, students are paid bi-weekly.

The Lincoln community is home to about 15,000 people. Off-campus jobs in the Lincoln area are also available. In addition, LCU's Church Relations Office keeps a listing of open full-time and part-time ministry positions in the Lincoln area and across the country.
