Federal Pell Grant
The Pell Grant is available to students with financial need. This is based on a federal formula from family financial information submitted on the FAFSA. Awards for 2009-2010 range up to $5,350.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
The FSEOG is for students of exceptional need who also receive the Federal Pell Grant. Awards for 2009-2010 will range up to $2,000.
Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP)
Illinois residents are considered for this need-based grant, which is restricted to payment of tuition and fees. Typically the application deadline is September 30 for first-time applicants and August 15 for continuing students. (Dates are subject to change by ISAC.) Illinois Incentive for Access Program (IIA)
This program provides a grant up to $500 for freshmen who are Illinois residents and have a zero EFC (Expected Family Contribution) based on their FAFSA. IIA grants can be used for any educational expense. Visit www.collegezone.com for further information.
