Advice on choosing a college
As you start looking at colleges and universities, don’t let costs scare you off. While money is a factor in most students’ college choices, there are many types of financial aid and you may be surprised at how things work out. Find the campus where you think your personality fits, your academic needs can be met, and you can make a difference. Remember that you probably will change direction several times in your life, so you want a university that will teach you how to think and problem solve, and will solidify your relationship with Christ.
What you like most about LCU?
LCU doesn’t try to be all things to all people. Also, I like the way LCU makes an accredited Christian college education affordable for most families at a time when costs at some universities have soared past $40,000 and even $50,000 a year.
Brandon Umphrey, Campus Visit and Communications Coordinator
217.732.3168, x.2356
Brandon is the "go to"person whenever a prospective student wants to visit LCU. He also organizes our GPS campus visit events. He acts as the admissions counselor for prospective students and applicants in the Lincoln area whose zip code is 62600-62699. Brandon is a proud alumnus of Lincoln Christian’s Business Administration program. After graduation, he worked for four years at State Farm Insurance before returning to LCU.

Psalms 18:2
What you like most about LCU?
The business department here at LCU shows you what it means to be a Christian in the corporate work environment as well as giving you the training to tackle most business endeavors. The professors took a genuine interest in me and even to this day I know I have them on my side. I am so appreciative of the education LCU has given me, especially in the area of business. Thanks LCU!
